i recently switched from dial-up to charter pipeline
i have always used emule and has always worked fine until i switched
at first emule connected stayed on for a day working fine for 1 day
then i lost my bandwidth though emule said i had high id and for 2 days now says fatal error while trying to connect to the internet
i test my ports and it says tcp failed
but my ports are open on all firewalls and still doesn't work when i shutdown all anti-virus spyware etc.
so i downloaded edonkey which is the same tcp port and yet again am completely unable to connect
what the heck is happening here what am i missing

it sounds like your new isp is blocking p2p connections. Try on a different port or bounce through a proxy server. Google and you can find provate ort numbers that isps cant block by law and also a list of proxy servers.
