 ... Is such a thing possible ... I mean, I'm just tired of giving the Taiwanese and Chimese my bucks ... Does Japan or the USofA or even some European country made DVD burners? If so ... what is the make and model??

China and taiwan are like the best companies for computer things

 Japan is much better, Taiwan and China are NOT the BEST companies (countries) for computer things .. just the cheapest labor so therefore most profitable for greedy corporations to outsource manufacturing to .. This most certainly does not make them the best

 The reason that I'm looking for equipment made elsewhere, is that I want someone older than 8 manufacturing my stuff
