Hi,

I have recently purchased a PSP from Japan with the 1.5 firmware installed. I also have a 1gb memory card on its way, any day soon fingers crossed.

Now i've read quite a bit on these forums and Im having trouble trying to get to get grips woth certain areas. As you know the PSP isnt cheap, I dont want to break the bloody thing aftter less than a week of having it. I also dont want to somehow upgrade the f/w by accidently loading a umd etc.. the reaon i bought the jap psp was for 1.5 f/w

1. I have Iso's on my pc. Is it true that you need a UMD (any umd) to boot these up?

2. Will any iso automatically upgrade my firmware?

3. If i get on the wi-fi, will this upgrade my f/w/?

4. If i play ripped iso will i also need a UMD?

sorry if its been covered before, I have done some reading but Im still not confident.

Also... where can i find the lumines 32mb loader?
