i have downloaded some films from the web but when i want to play it back or burn them it looks for a codec and then says codec error,plays the video with sound but no picture.can anyone help please.

im guessin u have windows media player. i would get either vlc media player or real player. they play 99% of all video types....AVI .DivX .mpeg you name it
