i saw thta site earlier and tried to do wat it told me to do for port forwarding for di624 for bitcomet. i dont see any change at all. and just in case, did i have to change my listen port in bitcomet to 12242(the port bitcomet uses according to portfoward.com). and i was reading of the the stickys about bittorent on this page about opening ports 6881-6889 or something like htat. i dont really get it. so any body can help explain and lead me thru this process of opening my ports?
thans again.

Do not open ports 6881, etc, they are blocked by most trackers and isp's.

Please go to dslreports.com, speed tests and then post your max upload and download speeds.

Did you create a static IP, and follow every step of the portforwarding guide for your router?

How many seeds and peers are part of the torrent you are downlaoding?

Use the Destination drop down box to select LAN,*. Enter the ports to allow in to your network into the Port Range box. The lowest port number should go into the box on the left hand side. The highest port number should go into the box on the right hand side.

i think im tryin to firewall so that the bitcomet can get through. wat dowsthe above paragraph tell me to do? the port numbers is my internal ip of my computer? or wat is it? thx for the help.

and this is my report from the speedtest

Your download speed : 1147808 bps, or 1120 kbps.
A 140.1 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 321207 bps, or 313 kbps.

i dont relally check the seeds/peers wen i download, but last time on new releases like bleach/naruto(anime) i could reach up to 100-200+ but now im gettin under 20 and usually under 10 kb/s.
hopefully i gav u enuff info to help me

Joe,

Stop adding unnecesary posts to get your count up, he has read the portforward website.

Follow this guide to open your firewall http://www.firewalling.com/dlink/di-624-firewall.htm

Then, continue by opening the ports under Virtual server in your router.
