Do a search of these forums for the problems with that burner. There are a multitude of posts.

But, to answer your question, first, make sure that you have the latest firmware update for that burner, and second, try a different brand of media.

How old are your players?? By chance if they are around 3 years old they may only play -R type media. Most older players could not play +R media.

I would also check the burn speed. I believe that anything higher than 4x can create problems. What kind of media do you use?

@aata, I haven't seen what type of media that you use, the age of your players, or how fast do you burn the movies? This information can help us help you. I have several movie that play on anything, except my father-in-laws dvd player (his player is older and only capable of playing -R media!) My burners can be booktype, which allows them (the media) to be played in a more of a variety of players. Any infor. can help.

aata, the new firmware made the burner more compatable with your media. That is why it plays now.
