Hey all,
So I have tried much of whathas been suggested in this awesome forums...yet i am stuck at an average of 2kB/s download speed with Azureus.

Here's what I am using :
A 1500kb/s cable connection
A 256kb/s upload ( so i set my max upload speed to 24kBps)
Motorola SB5100i modem ( no wireless router)
My ISP informed me that I am given a DYNAMIC IP address

Since, I am not using a router, there should be no port forwarding issues right? I did, disable windows XP firewall, and then made exceptions by manually opening ports 6881-6889 ( both tcp and udp).
It doesnt seem to be a NAT error at all.

So what in the name of god is happening here?
This really slow speed is puzzling me and its one hell of a frustrating thing. Could someone get me out of this quagmire?

Is my dynamic IP to be blamed...?
