Hey there,

GREAT site, thank you all for taking the time to help out us newbs.

I am trying to backup my Mosport 2004 Race disk, this is a DVD movie of a motorcycle race my friend was in. Every time I try to burn an image I get an error.
I have tried, DVD clone, Alcohol 120, DVD Decrypter, DVD shrink to make the image, with no luck. When I open the disk there are two files on the disk Video_ts and Audio_ts. Both files appear to be empty. This movie plays fine in my stand alone DVD player.
When I try to play it on my PC, it does not play.

Here are the errors

DVDCLONE?
Error opening video from
D:/VIDEO_TS
D:/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS:23 read error.

DVD Decryptor
i/o error
CDB 28???..40
Interpretation read 10 ? sector 64
Sense Area : F0????.
Interpretation: No seek

DVD Shrink
Failed to read D:\
Data error _cyclic redundancy check

This is a first for me !

Any ideas?

it is possible the disk has something physically wrong with it

try cleaning the disk, making sure there is no fingerprints or dust on the underside.

Is this a DVD pressed disk, or one that someone has made from a video?. Try ripping your disk in file format in Decrypter instead of iso, and see if this works. However, all you program errors point to a bad disk.

I think Arniebear is correct about the disc being defective. If I read this correctly, you are trying to copy a home made disc. If so then the disc is NOT encrypted. Any program with a disc copy feature should copy it if the disc is in good condition. Nero, Recordnow Max or even Roxio should copy this.
