I'm trying to fit Sweet Home Alabama on to one disc. I thought by removing the french and directors cut streams, I could make the movie smaller, but the movie was the same size. Why is that? I thought you could remove unwanted streams and make the movie smaller. Atleast thats what I've seen on here in some of the posts about ripping dvds. Am I doing something wrong here, is it the software, or am I misinterpreting something. Thanx for any help!

I'm not sure I understand what it is you are trying to do, are you making a VCD or a DVDR ?

So basicly you want to do a DVD to DVDR backup, I suggest you look at the guides regarding DVD9 media to a DVDR, that should help you out.

I did that already, I have already made like five or six backups no problem. But for this dvd when I use IFOedit to create the new files to burn they are like five and a half megs.
