nero express problem PLZ HELP

hey, i hope someone can help me out here.

I converted south park episodes from avi to dvd format in winavi, the files in video_ts folders were named as like vts_01_1 and stuff,then in NEROVISION EXPRESS 3.0.1.4 i was gonna make a menu for it but i couldnt figure out which episode was which so i went into the video_ts folder and renamed the files/episodes and made menu with it. Everything was done, I click burn in NEROVISION EXPRESS and when its preparing the data an error pops up saying " unable to prepare data for recording: Prepare session failed: Transcoding of videos failed. I have no idea what this is. But im assuming this happens because i renamed the files. The file names were diffrent but the VOB files were still VTS_01_1.VOB something like that. If this is what causes the error can someone tell me, is there a way i can choose what i want the files to be named as when its converting instead of VTS_01. Someone please help me on this. Thank You

what i think you should do is to joined the episodes before you convert to dvd in that way you would'nt have to search for which one comes first.

once you change the file extension i doubt that it will burn
