will the euro psp come with update v1.5 or v2.0, i was wondering as i will want to use the homebrew stuff as well as the web.

lastly why r hi-tech things in europe/uk also more expensive even with the tax added on???

I don't know about the UK, my guess is the VAT Tax! As for why things are more expensive here then say there? Well over there they have 50 different VAT Tax Laws. (One for each State in the Union!) So when a PSP goes for like $249.00(USD) there's still about ca. $50.00(USD) (or so), left to be paid for in VAT Tax to which ever State your in. So things only appear chaeper then they really are.

Now it you takeing the EUR, Pound to Dollar Ratio then yeah we're paying a bit more because the Dollar's in the Tollet right now. Given the current exchange rates we're paing +$55.00(USD) more...

ok but its still more dearer in the uk as $300 is about £167 and since the psp in the usa is $250(£139) then it still is £31 pound dearer in the uk, as well as it will be released 6 months after.


and in the uk they charge 17.5% tax. and 17.5% means that the psp would still be £150($267)

i no the difference between uk and usa is £50($90) but the difference between uk and japan is about £110.

and its the same with many other things like the ps2, which many people would buy from abroad as it cheaper but since the PAL and NTSC regions the companies now make more money HIKING THE PRICE IN EUROPE. even without so called tax.

I got a euro psp with 1.52 firmware and a cd to upgrade to 2.00 but of course i didn't. They even say that it is very important you upgrade as if you would lose your psp or it would break if you didn't...

i have heard that uk release will have 152 and v2.0 on disc. Anyway if you get it dnt upgrade just hold your horses coz with 1.52 you might be in luck to downgrade 2morro or u can upgrade have the internet and join the que for a hack.
