Is that a bad idea?We could rebuild a firmware with all the version 2.00 tools, but with the security of 1.50 or 1.00 too!Why not?
Yes, I know we can't do it now, but some people are hacking the codes..we just need to wait for the right person...and then I think it would be quite easy..
What do you think about it?I think it's a good idea because many people want the web browser and play homebrew..so..tell me.

So stupid!!!I HAD A JAPANESE 1.5 PSP..PERFECT!
AND I UPDATED IT TO 2.00!!!!!
BUT NOW...2.00 EXPLOIT SAVED ME!THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOSHI AND OTHERS!!!WELCOME HOMEBREWS!!!!
DO NOT UPDATE TO 2.01!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just found this:
(it was translated by chineses) :P
Quote:
The hacker strength is extraordinary, the self-restraint PSP 2.10 promotion procedures, may play the ISO game.

Discussion forum user realritzcracker issues us through email one eboot document. It may through damage the data the prompt. This eboot document certainly cannot start, but this is moves towards the correct direction one step. psphacks.net Pikoro confirmed this document could not damage your PSP. Under is email which he sends in:

It is well known, self-restraint software is unable in 2.0, 1.51 or on 1.52 moves. If you put self-restraint software on 2.0PSP, is is unable to move, only understands " damages the data " prompt. I manufactured one self-restraint software may pass this step. This swims the play script should appear and when the broadcast music in the PSP screen continues to read takes. Plays itself is " circle circle fork forks ". Asks each position to remember our name: realritzcracker, ritzcracker, canesfan08.
You are first have this explosive news the organization. Therefore I hope you can equally put mine name to other users in download side the link. This 2.0 self-restraints procedure is by realritzcracker, ritzcracker and canesfan08 manufactures. Only can use by 2.0 users. This procedure looks like can be 2.10 edition promotion procedures, certainly this is not real, but the folder must use UPDATE, because only has such PSP only then cannot it demonstrate for damages the data.
2.0 edition securities measures enable it only to read take the promotion document, simultaneously promotes the edition must be higher than 2.0. Therefore we only then used 2.10 edition promotion procedures to carry on the camouflage. We any situation which appears to your PSP are not responsible.

We knew several information from the above content
One, 2.0 allow to read takes under update table of contents eboot.pbp
Two, this eboot.pbp only may symbolize for promotes the document, moreover version our company must be higher than 2.0

Thus it may be known, if 2.0 is explained, will play the family faces one quite troublesome question, that will be on the machine only may exist one self-restraint procedure, if will have to use in exchange other self-restraint procedures, will have to link the computer changes into it other one ~

If solely is moves PSP explains the game but actually fortunately, one period of time played one are good. If also wanted to move the simulator and other procedures can be very troublesome
Mhh....yes..but..be careful...
There are versions such as 2.10 and 2.50 floating around some sites and P2P (peer-to-peer) networks. It is not a good idea trust them, as they can easily destroy your PSP.

So stupid!!!I HAD A JAPANESE 1.5 PSP..PERFECT!
AND I UPDATED IT TO 2.00!!!!!
BUT NOW...2.00 EXPLOIT SAVED ME!THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOSHI AND OTHERS!!!WELCOME HOMEBREWS!!!!

Yoshihiro has been a busy chap. He's just turning out new programs left and right:

New param.sfo header Fixed for all psp Version 1.0 to 2.0
i've only released this for helped all warriors on 2.0 hackZ

How use it ?
replace juste your mksfo.exe from urs sdk pspdev X:\pspdev\bin or make your
shitz.bat like that : mksfo My_appz_name param.sfo .

from where and why ?
the original makesfo.c is from the pspdev sdk and just fixed for helped one guyzfrom my #wab channel .

..::Yoshihiro::..
WHAT????I've not understood very well....

so...the hack is very near!
[Yoshihiro] it's for your eboot can be launch on psp 2.0
[Yoshihiro] because the param.sfo are different
[Pikoro] cool
[Pikoro] so does anything run?
[Yoshihiro] no :)
[Yoshihiro] but your eboot can be launch

So, looks like this makes .sfo files that are compatable with 2.0 PSPs also. Just one more small step towards homebrew on the PSP.

So stupid!!!I HAD A JAPANESE 1.5 PSP..PERFECT!
AND I UPDATED IT TO 2.00!!!!!
BUT NOW...2.00 EXPLOIT SAVED ME!THANK YOU VERY MUCH YOSHI AND OTHERS!!!WELCOME HOMEBREWS!!!!
