I recently downloaded BitComet, and have been trying to download files from torrent spy, but download speeds are around 12kb/s, which is much lower than my limewire speeds around 250kb/s, and I did a speed test:

Download size: 200 KB
Download time: 1.875 seconds
Download speed: 853 Kbps (kilobits per second)
Client IP Address: 62.253.128.**

How can i get my torrent speeds higher?

If you are using a router you will need to forward the ports you've opened to your router. That will help drastically. I made a tutorial, the link is in my sig. on how to open ports and forward them.
