i dwled the sygate personal firewall from filepedia.com but when i removed it with the add/remove programs, limewire still says that i still have a firewall. if it isnt the sygate firewall, it can be something else, and if it is, how do i know?

when i try to direct connect on limeiwre, it says im behind a firewall or router. wat about xp sp2 firewall?

do you have windows xp with service pack 2 as sp2 has a firewall in it. check in control panel to see if it is there as i don't use xp.

http://www.portforward.com find your router and gnutella. Then it will give you instructions
