Converting RatDVD to DVD takes forever! Help!

I started converting to DVD and it takes forever! It's been converting for about 3 hours now and it's at 8%! Should this take this long? I got P4 3.2, 1GB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 6600GT! Let me know! Thanks!
