if you have wipeout pure..you can get online with it...you just have to have a router or around one..here's the link on how to do the settings for it once you get wipeout and around a router... http://omlette.net/psp/roto/
good luck, ;)

yeah...try this test:
go to the "Network Settings" on your psp, click X, then select "Infrastructure Mode", click X, then select "New Connection", name it, then once named press the right directional button..should bring you to the WLAN Settings menu..scroll to the bottom where it says "Scan" and then press X...let it scan for a signal...if you have one around you can use that signal to get on the internet...otherwise you are going to need to be around a router..good luck, ;)

You can actually surf the net without using the wipeout hack and without upgrading to 2.0. The program is called tenchi browser. It's not as good as the new 2.0 browser by sony, but it gets me by. The only real bad thing is that it's in japanese. This isn't much of a problem, you can still enter in english text. The speed is much better than wipeout. So far it's the only alternative I've found to upgrading or using wipeout. I've heard of people using FireFox on the psp, but I haven't found any info about it. If anyone knows anything, please post about it.

@benagain...yeah tenchi is another route..the only problem is it can be hijacked(meaning someone can overclock your psp and fry it)...even though it's a slight possibility of it happening you know there are people out there that would do it...just thought you might know, didn't know if you knew or not...FireFox on the psp?...let me know if you find any info on that too...thanks...holla ;)

Yea, I forgot to mention the issue of security when using tenchi browser. It's best used for short periods if you use it (lessen the chances of someone hacking you while online). As for FireFox, I haven't found anything more out other than a reference to it on a message board here and there. It may be something in the works, or just a rumor started by some guy. I'll be sure to post more info as I find it.
