Hi

I have the American version PSP with V. 1.50 and my friend downloaded some (NES,gameboy, SNES, Genesis, gameboy color )Roms and Some ISO's for me. Here is the question, What is Rom, ISO and Emulator? How are these 3 works together ? I need to see the picture in my mind on how these things work. So, i will have an idea on what im doing, not by just following instructions and do whatever.

Emulator- A program that emulates(pretends to be) a diffrent gaming console.
Roms- Basicly it is a type of imae format to be used in an emulator.
ISO's- this is also an image format but this is the format commonly used to burn cd's. PS, PSX, PSP, and PS2 use this. Xbox uses X iso.
