I bought the psp and it came with version 1.5 I waited until a few days ago to upgrade to 2.0 notice how I said upgrade! The internet browser is wayyyyyy better and everybody is talking about modding their psp so they can emulate nes and shyt! WHO THE HELL WANTS TO PLAY NES GAMES WHEN YOU BOUGHT A PSP!!! I dont wanna play those crappy games they suck. Id rather play ridge racer or tony hawk (much better graphics, so much fun, and its not illegal) Everybody who wants to get 1.5 dont!! IT SUCKS! i am much happier with 2.00 its worth it! some dumbasses are sellin theirs on ebay and buying new ones just for 1.5! Thats crap! UPGRADE to 2.0 dont DOWNgrade to 1.5!

Uhm, its not just NES games. You can play all systems, including mame, ps1, and you can play EVERY PSP game out there, and it doesnt cost a thing! So yea, keep your web browser, lol.

I have all those systems i either: A. Threw them out, B. Gave them to a younger indiviual (who threw them out) or C. I am to ashamed to give them to a younger individual (cause they suck so much) that they are rotting in my attic!

why don't you keep your dumbass opinion to yourself. And if you must let us know your opinion then at least don't make yourself look like an ass. If you want to spend $250 just to play psp games then that's on you. I prefer getting the most out of my $250. If you haven't noticed there aren't that many psp games out there that are (in my opinion) worth getting, at least not for the price.
I love my psp especifically for the fact that it's a 1.5 because i grew up back in the day and i know how to appreciate those retro games. You just sound like a brat who is amazed by graphics. Why spend $40 plus for each psp games when You could just spend $85 at the right place for a 1gb pro duo card and get all these things on your psp for free!!
Oh and by the way did you post this message with your computer? Why don't you put it in the attic also now that you have your precious web browser.

Wow u have got to be one of the only people i have ever heard say they like psp v 2.0 better than 1.5. I have been searchin many forums and ur the only 1 ive seen with that opinion. And if u r going to say 1.5 sucks than reply on a thread talking about it dont make a thread just to complain about it. im only 15 and i still like the old snes and nes games. Plus u can play gba and psx games on it, who knows what else we will be playin soon. Gl with ur web browser, i think ill go download one off of the internet and still have psp v 1.5.
PS: Good luck spending ur money on psp games while the rest of us r playing them for free.

Hey, I had v1.0 since february, and now I updated to v1.52. Not because I didn't know about that homebrew can't be run on v1.52, but because I don't give a shit. I agree with juddy11, who want's to play old games with 3d-capable psp? And Bezerker said that you can also play mame and ps1 games. First off, you can't play ps1 games on psp, unless they're ported and sold in a store. And second, who would play mame games? They're even older than nes games. Yeah, in the 90's nes was cool and fun to play, not anymore. Games don't have a real challenge and content, they're played through in few hours (like any mario and megaman for example.). If I like to play these old games, then I will dig my nes from the closet or I will emulate 'em with computer at proper fps without frameskipping and play with joypad. But this ia just my opinion, you guys do what you want :>
