i was using abc as my bit torrent client till a friend of my recommended me to azureus. i tried it and find it pretty good as far as diagnostics go.

i noticed this smile face near the torrents. i never get green, always the yellow unsure face. and when i do the nat/firewall test, i always get NAT error.

i tried searching for the routers, but i never found a way to configure both of them together.

here's some screenshots, that i hope might be of some use:

d-link router

speedtouch 530 modem/router
http://ben.newezone.com/nay/afterdawn3.jpg

how it's set up is the speedtouch connects to my isp (bigpond, australia). it's so called modem/router only coz it has a ethernet and usb out from the modem.

anyway, i take the ethernet out and plug it into my d-link router wan port. then it goes to my mom's, dad's and my computer.

what i've done so far is, i've enabled DMZ on my d-link, from what i read it exposes me to the internet. and i've done the NAT thing on the speed touch. and i've added '6881~6889' for both tcp and udp in my d-link applications list.

if you need any screenshots to help me out from the various config sections in the routers, let me know.

any help is welcome, thanks.

ps, i also went to places like portforward.com but they didnt have the speedtouch as configurable and recommended dmz, but there is no dmz option on the speedtouch.

try bitcomet or bitlord

i have a vonage/router and on azzerous i was having same issue
tried bit comit and it works cause it automaticly changes the ports and your settings--but speeds are low--on downloading---if their are only a few seeds-----

you must find a file with alot of seeds--and less leechers
look into the bitcomit or torrent tutorial on this site for more info

good luck
