hey all is it possible with our 2.00 psp's to put a 1.5 emulator on and run homebrew and loaders now im not a hacker or nothin so i cant do this

People are still trying to figure out how to hack into version firmware 2.00

So i guess u'll just have 2 give it sum time

Again if it were as simple as that, WE WOULDN'T BE HERE! Right now in order to run anything on a 1.5 or less you need a hacked EBOOT.php File to run it. $ony made it so that with Firmware 1.51 and Higher, that you can no longer run a hacked EBOOT.php File. As the File is not signed off as beeing valid. Upshoot... You get a 'Corrupt Data' Error.

This is the same argument as If Team WAB can get there Das Wunder Hack to work on PSP1.51+ what would be the point of a Downgrader? As the point of downgradeing is to run unsigned Apps!

According to an Interview over @ http://www.psp-spot.com/ (currently the Third Story in @12.50CET),. They say:

"Is the process done with a EBOOT, and if so then why do you need
a downgrader if the EBOOT will run on your 1.5X or 2.0 PSP?

Response from PaWsticK:
The process is done with only one EBOOT, the reason it works on a
PSP 1.5X and 2.0 is that its a filmware EBOOT modified to work
backwards, because its officially from SONY then it bypass's "SOME"
of the security checks."

So that would seem to explain that then....
