I recently signed up with Primus voip services. I am using the d-link DVG-1120M gateway that they provide. I am also using a Linksys WRT54G wireless-g 4 port router.
Like so many others, I am receiving the same NAT error when running the NAT/firewall test..
O/s = WinXP Pro w/service pack 2 (Firewall security turned off)
I have a feeling that port forwarding and/or triggering may be required, but am not certain of how to do that at the gateway end.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance..

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the D-Link DVG-1120M is not in the list under forwarding. My problem doesn't lie with my Linksys router, because all was fine before introducing the d-link gateway into the equation.

Ah, sorry i misread. Im not exactly sure what you mean by gateway as my voip service is cablevision, optimum voice/online and i have no problems with it, only with my router, a netgear one occasionally for NAT errors.

I have opened up ports 6881-6889 on my Linksys WRT54G router.. Still getting the NAT error. If I bypass the D-link gateway, everything works well.

So, for example, I can use 15500 - 16500. Do I have to use a combinatiom of 2 numbers?
Thanks a lot.
