I thought exactly the same. Maybe it was my eyes decieving me but it really did still look like it said 1.52. Like you i hope it is true cause i have a 1.51 which is a real pain in the backside but if it wasn't would it really be worth bringing out a video of it. Seems silly to me.

The Video is total crap had they botherd to encode it with a better 'White Balance' setting and used a decent encoder instead of displaying there Mad Skillz in Adobe Encore, Photoshop (or whatever), and actully described the process. I think we'd know that all they wanted to do was to show that they could execute there App, without it crashing.

As to the reasion of 1.52 -> 1.52. Again I think they just wanted to display the fact that they could run there App. But getting to the point where they could 'Execute' (i.e. Point of no return),. They decided that discression was the better part of valor and canceld it.

Now the question is, is the Firmware Changer at work here? If I were to use this to change a 1.5 into a 1.5x or 2.0. What would happen to the Firmware Number after a reboot? Would it reset itself back to 1.5 or would it still read 1.5x or 2.0?? If such info would be 'lost' after a reset. Then we could assume that that the PSP being filmed was a real 1.52 (Euro PSP),...
