V1.0 and Fastloader 0.5 help pls

I have a PSP with V1.0 firmware bought from Hongkong a few months back. I've tried Fastloader 0.5 on a couple of iso's - virtua tennis and need for speed underground without anyluck.

The fastloader screen comes up, the name of the iso comes up but when I hit X to load it, it says "*** initialising ... ***" and just does nothing after that.

Can anyone give me any advice. And can I go from V1.0 firmware to V1.5??

I had a V1.0 until just this afternoon. I had the same problem you encountered with Virtua Tennis. Go ahead and upgrade your fw to 1.5. You will be able to play the iso without any problems. And for the rest of the Homebrew (1.0 vs 1.5), Kxploit will do the trick (no ms swap required). I upgrade to 1.5 with the upgrade included in Tony Hawks Underground 2 (EU). Hope this helps

bruunbe - you upgraded from FW1.0 to 1.5 using Tony Hawks Underground 2? Do you know if there is a simpler way of upgrading?

Well, it's quite simple if you have THUG2(EUR)... Sony doesn't offer the possibility anymore on their website, maybe another site is still hosting such upgrade...

I read somewhere that Space Invasers also forced the upgrade to 1.50 (not sure though). Otherwise you should google for others.

From my experience: TOCA2 (EUR) and WipeOut (EUR) force you to V1.52.
