I'm about to buy a PSP. However, got some questions:

1. Can I run US games on a Euro PSP? Even not using some tool?
2. Same questions for backups of US games, will they work on a Euro PSP?
3. Are games still released first in US?
4. What kind of memory stick should I get? Ultra, Ultra II, gaming, or does it not matter?
5. Do all back-ups still require a memory stick, or can they be put on the hard drive (is there one), or burnt to cd, Thanks

well your in luck I will try to answer your questions.

1.) Yes they can, the only problem is palying UMD movies.
2.) They will not work just yet, you need firmware 1.5, Euro PSP's come with 1.52 and 2.0 update o the demo disc.
3.) Yes and No, Japan usually gets them first then US but as far as games go the US anf Euro release should be close on release dates.
4.) if you will be constantly changing conten on the memory stick go ultra II, The ultra II is gonna save you time on file transfers. Load times are really close but not worth the extra cost.
5.) So far memory stick but there may be a program that you can play your back up from your computers hard drive while being hooked up by the usb cable.(not really portable enough for me.)
