I am a guitarist and I am trying to record a lead guitar part over a rhythm guitar part. I am new to using Nero's Wave Editor but I have figured out everything else but this. I know the sound quality won't be perfect, but I still want to record over pre-existant files.

Since no-one's replying to this thread, I'll give my 2 cents worth...

I would personally use something like Sonic Foundry's Vegas, since it allows for mixing, panning, etc. Simple wave editors just don't allow for the controls you need when doing overdubs.

You may wanna consider their demo. Well worth the download.
