Help with psp movie creator please

When I rip my dvd to my harddrive (using dvd decrypter) psp movie creator will not accept that type of file to be converted. It finds all of my downloaded videos which are avi files, but it won't find my IFO/VOB files. I like the software and I love how you can set the size you want, so I want to be able to use this program, but I have no idea how to use a ripped file with this software, if you would get back to me and let me know how to do this that would be great. Thanks a lot.
Better yet if someone has a step by step guide like the one that is on the forums for psp video 9, but only I need it for psp movie creator, that would be great.

PSP Movie Creator:
1. Install and run "PSP Movie Creator " on your PC.
2. Click "Open ..." button to open a video file or DVD disc. PSP Movie Creator will then start playing the movie in the preview window.
3. When movie starts, click "Start Recording" button. (You can change output file size, audio quality etc, before recording).
4. When the process finishes, click transfer to PSP button to transfer & manage PSP video files.
There is no need to use decrpytor first or shrink.
Do the above and it will convert staright to MPEG4 no hassle!!

Also depnding on what version of PSP you got helps to!! if you on v2 the format on your stick the video folders are already there, i not sure about prevouis version you may well hae to create them yourself or the vidoe will not work.
DUO STICK:\MP_ROOT
DUO STICK:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01
DUO STICK:\MP_ROOT\100ANV01
If you download movie from the offical site it will automatically create a folder in there for you.

Ok when I click open and click on the dvd from the menu, It then drops down the sub options, audio_ts, video_ts, common, etc. I'm assuming just from common sense that I need to select video_ts. When I do this, no more sub options pop up, I dont get to choose the chapters or portion of the movie i want. I tried to just select the folder and hit ok, and nothing happens, nothing starts playing. And also what do I do with the output folder? should i put the output as my memory card or somewhere on my harddrive? But first off I need to know how to get the movie going so I can actually record it. If someone out there has a detailed description, please help me out, thanks

why are u using a decryptor? psp movie does not require this!! put in dvd in to drive select the area u wish to record, leave it and it saves as a mpeg4, simple

Ok that's what I've been trying, and now the movie loads and it starts to record great, and then it gets anywhere from 5.2-5.6% done and then the recording process freezes, I don't know whats goin on, i think im just cursed, help me please.

i just did that too, i think you have download the trial version of psp movie creator. it only good for 10 mins
i have a question, now i can copy movies and watch by using movie creator, but how can i listen to music on my psp? what program shall i use? please tell, thanks

scoonie32 yes ok m8 i seem to be havin that problem too now, think u jinks me, lol nevermind, anyway will try to get another program, think psp x studio is on the card , off to find it now, will let everyone know in due course.

Spent all morning looking around, finally cracked it,
PSP Video 9 & DVD Decryptor & PSP Guide v2.2
Put them all together and TA DA!!!
Managed also to get PSP Guide v2.2 tell u how to use them and a hell of a lot more, and before u ask yes i do have them all, one problem quiet a large program to attach to email. if u want it and got msn messeger i will happly do a file transfer with all the right bit and bobs to get you going
