hi,
i have a europe psp with version 2.00. unfortunely i have a blueyonder modem. and its not wireless, it uses a usb line. so when my psp serached for a connection it doesnt find one. what do i need and do u know where i can get this piece of device from? thanks a lot.

Well Idellicly you'd want an 802.11x Router. But I think you can get off a bit chaeper by just purchaseing an 802.11x NIC - PCI Card, and then useing the ICS features in Windows to create a Bridge to your 802.3 NIC which inturn is connected to you Modem...

You'll need to get a Wireless (802.11x -a,b,g & n), NIC (Network Interface Card), Useing the Internet Conecction Shareing (ICS), features of your OS. Create a Network Bridge to your normal Wirerd (802.3) NIC Which then gets connected to your DSL / Cable.

You mentiond a MODEM I don't know if you ment a DSL / Cable Modem. But, if you ment a "BEEP, BeeP - pANGG PANGG!" MODEM. You are already in trouble as you'll defently need a Broadband Connection, to use it.

If you don't have Broadband, perhaps you could play with your PSP in one of those upscall Coffee Shops that sell $4.00(USD), Coffee and enjoy there Hotspot for free...

Personaly I'm not to faund about using Internet from public places. If I have to then I would go. But I think I can safely say that surfing the net from the comfort of your own home is a hell of a lot better!!!!!
