Bought a Sony DRU-800A a couple weeks ago. Worked fine buring data DVDs a number of times. Today I tried to burn a DVD-Video with Nero and got a Power Calibration Error after lead-in. The drive made a loud spinning noise and the Nero burn failed out. Now the drive will not recognize ANY disc -- DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, etc. Did it die? How does a drive kill itself like that? I was able to execute the burn using my older Pioneer A04 drive but still would like to know if I broke my Sony drive or if it is defective. Anyone else have a problem doing this with this model of Sony?

Additionally, can anyone tell me what "Powerburn" is in Nero?

Here's the log file from NERO:
