Nero Techs suck! I hope someone can help me. I have Nero 6 (with all possible updates) I have been trying to burn cd compilations from my library with Nero Mix. However, when I start the burn process, Nero does not recognize the internal CD/DVD rom in my Dell 600m Inspiron laptop! It shows it's name and model # Philips, but there is a red circle w/ a slash thru it, the universal symbol for "SOL BUDDY!" I can only burn from Nero Mix when I use my external CD/DVD Writter. Nero has assured me my internal writer is supported by them.

Here is the clincher! They are right. If I try to use Nero Vision or any other Nero burning program that comes with Nero 6, it recognizes my internal Philips writer! Nero Mix is the only program that for some reason can't use it! Frustrating if I want to burn disc away from my desk and external writer!

Nero (Germany) keeps sending me stupid replies including a suggestion to upgrade to Nero ! Hello I already have it!!!!!!! I give up trying to get any help from them. FYI, I do have iTunes program for interfacing with my iPod only. Any suggestions?
