I have been using this app for sometime now and need help from anyone who can provide answers too my question .

Too start with :

I take a 1200mb mpeg 1 movie , pass it through this app with mquant = 4 , and the result is a 300mb mpeg file that plays well .

This is on a super socket 7 mb + amdk62450 .

This appears too be the proper function .

I have a second pc I biult :
asus mb + amd athlon 1800xp

Do all the same things , but the result is no change in size of file ?

Can anyone explain what I can do too get the xp system too do the same thing I can do on my old system .

Have tried this setup on several pc's already , and the old amdk62-450 system appears too be the only one capable of using the mquant value setup correctly .
