hey, ive had my psp for a while now but only ever really used it as it is meant to be, for games.
so now i decided i want to tinker about with it a bit and explore what it can do - ive heard people running msn on it and divx movies and allsorts of stuff like that so tell me please where do i begin?

eg what sort of firmware do i need and where can i get it? how do i get this installed on the psp and then as a beginner at this stuff, what do you reccomend i do next. ofcourse you may say its upto me what i want to do with it but as a guide i would like to be able to run various older game rom, dixv movies and pretty anything else that is gonna be fun to do (and easy to do)

yea i know its easy to say just read the forums here but i would just really like some suggestions for now.

If you have firmware v1.51 or greater, then you can't use homebrew. So there's no need to read this post any longer.

If you have v1.5:

Then read that sticky on the top of the list about "installing homebrew on 1.5"

If you have v1.0:

Just copy your homebrew to psp/game/[any folder name]
