I have done the prepare step, the encode step, and the rebuild step in dvd rebuilder.... I am assuming the encode step used CCE that i had selected through dvdrebuilder.....
so now i have the files... and i just use Nero to burn them now?

that should do the job, yes
if you dont have Nero or dont want to use it, you should select ISO output in rb
this way dvddecrypter could be used for the burning process
(see the iso options underneath the *iso output* entry)

you should delete unwanted extras BEFORE using rebuilder because this way you'll get better quality as more bitrate will be available for the rest of your dvd
same goes for audio streams - rebuilder let's you select the languages you want

dvdshrink will not really be of help when it comes to removing certain extra/bonus mterial or certain warning messages
this can be done, however, with vobblanker prior to using rb

ISO output should work fine regardless of whether you're blanking segments. It uses the same routines as ImgTool to make images and I've used that program many times on edited DVD files.
