Whats's up. After hearing all the different mods and hacks you can do with the PSP, I'm getting one this weekend.

So do I have to get a specific version, or do the mods/hacks work for all of them? Thanks.

You need a version 1.5 for homebrew games and such to work. You can't do anything homebrew related with versions 1.52 and up.

Actually that's v1.51 and up. And v1.0 can run homebrew too.

What about memory sticks. Does the regular Sony memory stick work or do I need to get a memory stick "Duo"?

Normal memorysticks are too big to fit psp, so only duo is compatible.
