Hi All,
I use NeroVision Express 3 to capture DV from my handycam to the PC in DVD (MPEG-2) format (.MPG file). It creates about 3 Gig for a 1 Hr DV tape. This process works fine and I can playback the .MPG file using ZoomPlayer and I assume any other Direct Show Player. However when I later go to use this .MPG file to create a DVD (VOB files etc) using NeroVision Express 3, I get to the Preview step in the process and the playback screen is all green (instead of displaying the finished DVD playback). When I select "Next" to create the DVD, the program hangs. I cannot get past this point to create the DVD files.
From initial investigation the green playback display seems to be attempting to play the DVD as the time on the virtual remote control is counting up and there is a few lines of static at the top of the green display like its trying to decode the video but it cannot.
Pressing any of the buttons on the virtual remote also hangs NeroVision.
Is this a common thing? Cause it happens all the time for me.
Do I need to install a different MPEG-2 codec? According to GraphEdit, the Video goes through a Ligos MPEG Splitter then a Ligos MPEG Video Decoder when it is played back using a direct show player (ZoomPlayer).
