Need help with MOHAA

I have Medal of Honor Allied Assault and suddenly a few weeks ago it just stoped working. I have had MOHAA for two years now and has worked fine. I have the real deal not an ISO. The problem with it is that I click on the desktop shortcut or either the directory,"MOHAA.exe" to execute. Every time I try to open MOHAA, the MOHAA screen image comes up and then everything returns to normal like nothing happened! Could some1 help me, I really want to go back to online gaming.

This probably isnt the best forum for this question, but...

Have you added any mods or hacks?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
Are you running alot of background programs?
