OK im not sure if this is in the right section so dont get too mad!! My question is, is there a way to play a burnt dvd in high def?

Some players claim to upconvert to HD, but really all they are doing is coverting the pic to digital & then sending it to the TV via a digital connection instead of the usual component analog connection. Some players reviews are good, others actually are poorer than using analog. True HD on DVD is computer only at the moment windozHD and posssibly another competitor, neither has many releases, and their only viewable on a computer.
