hi there peeps, im having trouble trying to convert some of my anime files into psp, here is the setting for the files.

Size : 220MB
Audio Languages : English/Japanese
Subtitles : English
Audio Encoding : Ogg Vorbis Quality 2
Video Frame Rate : 23.97 fps
Video Resolution : 640x480
Video Codec : Divx5

i opened up this anime episode in river past video cleaner but when i go to the options output format options it doesnt have the options mpeg4.

what i want to be able to do is have it so i can play it on my psp and be able to choose either jpn or english audio and choose to have english subtitles if i desire.

can somone please tell me if this is possible and if so tell me how i can do this.

if you can help me on this i would appreaciate it heaps :)

You can't use dualaudio or decide if you want subtitles or not. You must choose which audio you want (japanese recommended, english dubs suck ass) and encode the video so that subtitles are "burned" to the picture. I don't know nothing about that program you're using, but you should try pspvideo 9 after you have encoded the video so that it has single audio track and "burned" subtitles. There's plenty of tutorials for that subtitle thingy here in AD.

um yuh, i dont know if river past actually allows you to choose waht audio and subitles, i could be wrong, but, can i ask a major favour of you, could you please download the program and see if you can get an ogm movie with multiple audio and subtitles to convert and be able to choose from river past what audio and subtitles you want, if you can do this, i'd be much obliged.

hope to hear from you soon. :)

Tried it. When you start to encode you get that icon in lower right corner, on the taskbar. When you change audio track form there, then it also encodes that selected audiotrack. I turned on the subtitles too, but it didn't seem to work. You could ask the same question in video encoding section here at afterdawn forums.

hi there arcanix when i open up this anime which i got from a friend which is btw in ogm format but when i open it up riverpast; down in the bottom right hand corner is says 'audio:1 video:1" thats bs

the ogm has 2 audio's jpn and englsih, so why is it lying, and also can you tell me how to change audio tracks and choose subtitles track on riverpast, cos i don know how to do that, if you can tell me ill see if i can get it to work.

oh silly me lol ^^ you mean the little black and white film strip which appears in the bottom right huh, the little ogg filter huh, yuh i saw it lol.

ok i clicked on it and selected jap audio and english subtitle and just like you i dont get any subtitles appearing at all.

also the clip length is 22 mins 30 sec i believe, but why is that it never fully encodes it, mine only encodes and outputs a 5 min video each time or either 3 mins or crazt stuff like that, and no its not a trial program, cos well you can guess waht i did, to not make it trial, but yuh, why dos it not fully encode the whole episode length, can you please tell me this, also ill take your advice and post in the forum section which you tld me about.

That's the problem there, I can only change audio track but it's not encoding subtitles with it. For that encoding problem I can't say what wrong. I could encode only 2 minutes, but that was beacuse the program was trial version.

yuh mebbe the program has a few kinks in it, im not sure, but did you want me to send you the full program of river past, cos i dl it from a torrent, and yes i don know if you would go along with it, im not saying i supoort piracy, and im not asking yo to, im just sasying that for trial purposes did you want me to sen you the program which comes with a key gen. once again i apologize if i made you mad by saying this.

i only ask this of you cos if you had the full program like i now do, then mebbe you could see if you could get it to work, and if you did you could tell me how to do it.

please tell me waht you think arcanix
