I've been following dRD's messages re: the subject, and I indeed have confirmed that capturing to lossless (i.e. AVI file) then converting is the way to go, but, as we know - I'm getting file sizes of 4.5 gB for 7 minutes of capture time. How can I deal with one hour captures, etc, esp. considering Windows 4 gB file limit? Patching these 7-minute pieces together doesn't make sense, but now I'm spoiled after seeing the fine results of an AVI capture converted to MPEG for DVD buring. I appreciate any wisdom anyone can lay on me -

Thanks
