Okay, I just realized that my new encoded Mpegs have a lot of motion blur on DVD playback. I burned all my Mpegs to a DVD+RW, just to check how they looked, and noticed that my encoding is wrong. I was using TMPGE, doing a CBR with 2000 ave. bitrate. Not doing high quality scan or anything. I didn't think it would matter but the motion is bad! So my question is...Do you guys think (if possible) I can encode these Mpegs to new Mpegs with better settings? Or should I just scrape them and start over from new AVIs?

going from avi to dvd is a waste....the quality is gone..you'd be better off going to vcd or even svcd. the bitrate should be much higher than 2000 for dvd anyway! i think it's 5000.
