Thanks anyway, found this website which is very simple to use and worth a try even for newbies. Just a note firstly for nokia 6230i use nokia 6230 and secondly, insert incompatible sim into new phone and the handset will say it is blocked. You then have the option to unblock. ***DONT FORGET THE FIVE ATTEMPTS RULE***
