Hi , can anyone help please , ive been here a few times with problems with nero updates etc, the latest problem i have is this and im hoping the experts ie you may have a solution, i managed to get an update cd from nero direct as i couldnt download them as im on a dial up connection, i was delighted thinking a simple pop in the pcs drwawer was all id need to do , this was when the problems started , i got halfway into installing package two on the update cd and was then politely informed that there had been too many changes since xp was installed and that i had three days to activate windows!!!i was not impressed and promptly restored my pc using a ghost backup , i tried this three times and each time i tried to update nero to the current version i was presented with this message, i was annoyed because ive made no alterations nor additions to my pc ever! apart from a 5.1 soundcard and more ram memory alls been fine except when i had problems with microsoft updates in august I cannot have updates now as if i do my pc just wont run external drives crashes and allsorts, basically my problems started in august when the big giant of software decided to enforce validation and active x on my pc , i have managed to buy nero and install totally new software now my pc does most what it used to do , they did tell me they were aware from files i sent them that the issues i was experiencing were known about but offered no real help , i have clawed my pc back with help from these forums and what little knowledge i have but im very diillusioned with xp apparently 5 re installs and you have to buy a new windows cd , i hope you can help me get aroung the nero update problemif nothing else it would be a start thanks
