i have a dell inspiron 2650 with usb 1.1. i bought an external dvd burner and of course it too like 4 hrs to burn dvd's, so i decided to get a usb 2.0 pcmcia card. i thought that it would work fine, but i am only able to copy the dvd's onto my hard drive. it will not send the information back to the burner to put on a dvd. i first bought a belkin brand pcmcia card and it did this, so i thought i would try a different brand. i have a micro innovations card, but it does the same exact thing. when i go to burn the movies it begins the writing lead-in and never goes past that. are there settings that i may need to change, something else that i need to do, or is this a lost cause?
