I am trying to burn buffy season 1 onto dvd, its all avi files, and im wondering, what is the best way to do this. I want to fit as many files as possible onto each disk, and im not overly concerned with quality(it doesnt have to be perfect) I just want to get them all onto disk and use few. What should i do/use
also i was wondering how to make a selection screen to choose episodes. I am a total dvd burning n00b so if someone could be so kinda as to go through the entire process with me id appreciate it very much. if you are willing to msg me on aim that would also be helpful
Get TMPGEnc plus.
Get the "Half D1 KDVD template".
Encode your avi's using this template in TMPGEnc.
Author them all to your hard drive, in something like DVDLab or TMPGEnc DVD Author. These programs will let you have a menu, to choose which episode to watch etc.
If it's too large to fit on one disk, use DVDShrink to make it fit.
Burn with whatever software came with your burner.
This is probably the best quality method you'll find, and still fit a whole season on one disk.
I usually use at least 3 disks for a full season (roughly 6 episodes per disk, at 45 minutes per episode).
