if someone with a version 1.5 psp took everything from there memory card and uploadid it and some 1 with a version 2 memory card downloadid it and then pastid everythong from the version 1.5 psp would that change anything?

Good thinking, but tsm is right. doing this would make a copy of the memory stick, but as the formware for 2.0 is on the actual psp itself, you would be out of luck. People are working like crazy to get some sort of downgrade working so keep checking back here and well as the major psp sites for news and info.
