I was conveting some AVI movies to VOB in Canopus Pro 2 and even on mastering quality and VBR 2 pass mode the movie didn't come out to well. I can see these blocky bits and artifacts on the video. The source AVI didn't have any of these problems. Has anybody else experienced this? Is there any other converter that will allow me to go from AVI to VOB? I don't want mpeg 2 because I want to skip the authoring. I don't need a menu, however the program should have a feature like Canopus where you can set auto chapters.
