i dont know why.. my torrents usually goes around 2-6kb/s and the highest is about 20kb/s... i dun use ne routers and it says i have a 100Mps connection.. so what is going on? ><
please help me~~ thx

Hello I Use Bitcomet And I've Been Searching For Settings For 512k Cable(Ive Got Optus Surfboard Modem 5100)I cannot get bitcomet higher than 30k and if it is at 30k it aint consistant i dont use a router i have norton internet security windows sp2 and i've tried all the tuts that every1 been putting up and none of the 1's ive read have worked for me

@denyfate - are you sure it's 100mbps?? i dont think! maybe 1.00mbps...

@elite23q. when i had 512k, i never got higher than 32kb/s, you should count yourself lucky you are getting decent speeds. by the way with torrents, you are unlikely to get entirely consistent results anyway.

when i download stuff on the net it goes like 800kb/s tho..
its just that when i use bittorrent is slow as hell

yer, it's a 10.0mbps connection.

you are unlikely to hit those sorts of speeds in torrents. when you say 'slow as hell', what sorts of speeds are you talking? on your connection you should be looking at a consistent 200kb/s throughout. though occasonally you will hit optimum speed..maybe on 100+ seeds

umm i download at like 700kb off good servers but only gettting 30k on bitcomet im looking for about 100k+
