I have upgraded Nero Vision Express from version 2.1.2.21 to 3.1..0.16 this problem. I did some further tests and following is what I found:
In my case, if playing captured video file with some background music, which I record and put in Audio 1 or Audio 2 track, no matter whether in edit video section or create chapter section using NVE 3, it is working fine, no static disturbance. Of course, the video file has its own sound. But if I put some sound file that is human speech recorded as narratage in a Audio track, it causes very annoying static like noise unless I turn off the sound of video file and other Audio track such as background music.
Anyone has this kind of problem when using NVE 3?

you're not alone, i have posted a thread but as yet no reply, i am adding video files to the Nero project and picking up the static there, cant seem to get rid of it have demuxed file and cleaned hard drive also used PVAstrumento to try and repair mpeg files but the static is still there. I succesfully burnt the same files previously with no static this problem has only started happening since an update of Nero 6 in july. Nero techsupport have been no help so far. sorry i cant help you but as i said you ain't alone mate!

This may or may not be relevant to your problem, but I will write my experiance of static-type sound interference with Nero. I have found that some movies I download, or rip,in whatever format, have a very low sound leverl. I am a little deaf, so I tried to take advantage of nero's "volume increaser", a rather unhelpful sliding scale that goes from 0 to 200%. I increased the volume, burnt the dvd, and found that the sound had increased but rather than distort it resulted in static during louder parts of the soundtrack.Perhaps that's what happened with your sound files? What I do now when I get a "quiet" movie is to normalize the soundtrack using a wave editor, mute the original, insert the modified soundtrack and then burn as usual.Since normalising, I have never had any more probs with static. So, maybe you could try normalising your soundtracks, see if it helps?...

Audio popping

I had that problem but it happened when I edited up a video in Nerovision
It used a video clip of simple stereo going into clips of 5.1 , removing the video clip with stereo file solved it
even though the final Nero export was stereo and the videoclips were 5.1.it didnt pop. adding the vid clip with stereo sound seemed to cause popping throughout.

"cant seem to get rid of it have demuxed file "
wondered what you meant by that and how you did it???

Hi Guys,
Am having a similar problem.
Have never had this problem before, but last week, I captured video from my camcorder (my nephews birthday).
I added some music, which had been put on as an mpeg (as per usual - like i say, never had any problems before).
And now, there is distorted noise, as if either the music, or the video is turned up too loud. It isnt though. Have tried several bits of music at various points of the video.
Have downloaded the latest patches. NO avail. I think im going to edit the video, export it, then add music, see what happens.
Nero does seem to chuck up these bugs for noe reason.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jereth.
