hi strange 1 this
i have yamaha 8x8x24 cd re writer thats is getting on in age 4 yrs old an its doing my head in
when i come to make an audio cd with nero it freezes mid way in the task just stops spinning an nero holds on the percentage forever till i mannually stop stop task,every single attempt
same thing happens when i try make vcd disc in nero
When i erase disc works fine well 7 out 10 times ,3 others it will complete the erase say sucessfull ,yet when i come to work on cd rw its not erased
when i come to make a simple data disc or adding to a open sessions with nero i fair better get results ,but approx 2 times in every 5 attempts nero completes the burn when i look on my disc my data isnt burned , so il repeat the same project it burns the data to me disc if not il repeat project till it does
thinking it was a bug in my pc i formatted an with just nero on pc nothing else i have same problem
thinking it was nero problem i formatted again installed my adaptec software bundled with writer an suffer same fait trying make audio cd with writer just stoping the burn mid way thro, i also have same problem when trying burn audio cd with cdrwin ,tried with cdrw ,cdr discs an im gettin nowhere
this was ooh 6 months ago an just been happy for now backing u data even tho somtimes nero lies completes task an i find disc still empty or the data just isnt added to me open session
i just repeat project till it does burn my data
before i pull the cd writer out an kick 6 diff colours of shi** out of it an buy another 1 ,anyone got any idea why a writer would act this way
