Mine was doing the same thing with Madden. It is not your memory card, it is the system. Luckly, I purchased the replacement plan.

I bought the system from GameStop here locally. They sold me a 1 year replacement plan. I took the box and system in with the accessories. They gave me a brand new one, no questions asked.

Madden is a piece of crap it's not your fault it's the game the games turns off your psp everytime you play franchise mode its not all the time but 50% of the time your psp gets turned off it's a bug that EA didnt see or fix

I don't even have the game, but I'm confused. are we saying this is a problem with madden then? I really don't see having to return a psp because you can't play psp backups off of the memory stick. it sounds to me like a problem with either the iso, the loader, or the memory stick. it could be that that game doesn't run right from a memory stick. if someone is having this problem with the actual umd, please let me know.

the only game that turns off your psp is madden (so far) BUT if your PsP turns off when your playing normal games on a normal FW then its the system OR if the system turns off when u try to homebrew or boot homebrew then its your fault

ok. that's a bit clearer. I'm interested to see how many more problem we may see with loading games. i swear to god if I start getting the psp version of disk read errors, I'm checking this thing back to japan. I didn't spend over 400 bucks for a system and games that don't play. I'll go back to playing snes style games on my gba. say what you want about it, but my gba sp has been the best damned gaming device I've ever owned. I've dropped it like thirty times and it plays like it did day one.
