MP3 Album Art Maximum Resolution/Size??

Quick Question, My entire MP3 music collection is tagged including Album Art(various sizes). I have found over the past week that some albums when copied onto my PSP show the album art and others dont. After playing around for a bit I found that by reducing the size/resolution of the ablum art I could get the PSP to display it.

Most of my album art is around 1400x1400 (approx) but I've found that I had to reduce this significantly to get it to work on the PSP, I found that anything under 700x700 works(this is approx, I never checked all resolutions!).

Anyone any solid info on this. Thx.
